Description:  Canadian Ski Marathon Coureur de Bois Marathon Canadien de Ski 1974 year book. The Canadian Ski Marathon took place from February 23-24, 1974. This information booklet includes:  trail maps; Jackrabbit receives Order of Canada; trail information; race statistics; ski equipment ads; Honoring Governor General and ski supporter Roland Michener; articles about skiing, including training tips.
From the chairman's message on pages 18-19, the origins of the Courer de Bois booklet are as follows:  "A decision was made to publish a year book for our Club that would not only act as an annual programme for our own Tour, but would aslo help encourage the development of other such marathons and promote cross-country skiing in general." The chairman's message also discusses the change from Canadian Marathon Ski Tour to Canadian Ski Marathon.
