Mementos from ski clubs across Canada

Thousands of Canadians have fond memories of belonging to ski clubs. They cherished the activities, friends and communities found within the collection of likeminded skiers. Canada’s ski clubs date all the way back to 1891, with the earliest continually operating ski club in Revelstoke, BC.

Canadian ski clubs have since hosted championship competitions, set world records, created and developed disciplines, and have been welcoming places for men, women and youth alike. Explore the collections which span well over one hundred years worth of photographs, trophies, badges, clothing and more. These mementos from the past are a testament to the importance of these clubs in people’s lives throughout the decades.
